Our take

New Study (Postcard) opens with a bright, almost abrasive squeeze of grapefruit and green orange, the rind still attached. A grassy fig leaf cuts through the citrus, keeping it from tipping into candy territory. Then the coconut milk slides in, creamy but not cloying, softening the edges like morning light through a white curtain. The fig and white peach blossom arrive together, a fruity-floral haze that never gets syrupy. Precious woods anchor the base, but they’re barely a whisper.

This is a fragrance that feels like a hand-drawn sketch of a seaside breakfast: a plate of sliced figs, a half-peeled citrus, a glass of coconut water sweating in the sun. It’s fresh and sweet in equal measure, natural enough to smell like skin but with a synthetic shine that keeps it distinctly perfume. Niche in spirit, yes, but wearable enough for a mainstream shrug.

The numbers don’t lie. Longevity is a sad two-point-six-four, sillage barely a two. You’ll get an hour of presence, then it becomes a ghost. That makes it perfect for a spring afternoon picnic or a summer morning walk, but entirely wrong if you need a scent to last through dinner or command a room. Who should wear it? Someone who values a fleeting, joyful moment over performance. Who should skip? Anyone who wants their fragrance to shout louder than a whisper.
