Night
Fragrance notes
Character
Night wraps the room in a soft, powdery haze. Mandarin orange gives a bright flash before the white lily takes over with a creamy, slightly indolic texture. Sandalwood sits underneath, smooth and golden, keeping the flowers from floating away completely.
The musk here leans animalic rather than clean, adding a warm skin-like weight that feels intimate rather than loud. It is a scent for a dimly lit hallway and a coat thrown over a chair. The spicy accords add a tiny pinch of heat, like a cardamom pod crushed into a glass of milk, lending the blend a comfort that reads more expensive than the bottle suggests.
The composition struggles when the white lily and the musk meet. The flower turns soapy in the dry air, and the sandalwood cannot anchor it. The citrus vanishes too fast, leaving a gap that the powdery accord tries to fill with a heavy hand. It is a lovely idea that loses its balance when the notes collide.
