Fragrance notes
Saffron and oud hit first, sharp and metallic, with a resinous edge that feels more leather than wood. The opening is dry and a little abrasive, not the smooth spice you might expect from the note list. Rose enters soon after, but it stays in the background, lending a soft floral lift without turning the blend powdery or romantic.
Vanilla and praline take over the middle, adding a milky, nutty sweetness that rounds out the spice. The accord leans lactonic rather than sugary, with a warm tobacco haze sitting underneath the gourmand notes. It reads more like a cozy lounge than a dessert plate, though the praline does push it toward treat territory if you apply too much.
The metallic top never fully disappears, which keeps the vanilla from becoming cloying and gives the whole composition a slightly industrial, modern edge. It suits cooler evenings when you want something sweet but grounded, or anyone who enjoys rose and oud but finds most vanilla scents too flat and one-dimensional.
