Our take

Tangerine blossom is the entire opening act of Orange Blossom, a bright, dewy citrus-floral note with almost nothing else competing for attention. Jo Malone built this one deliberately thin, and that restraint is the whole point, not an oversight. There's an honesty to a fragrance this stripped down; nothing here is hiding behind an extra ingredient.

Orange blossom, lilac and water lily carry the heart, a soft, watery white floral that never thickens into anything heavy, lilac adding a powdery lift on top of the water lily. Vetiver and iris close it out, adding just enough green and powder to keep the composition grounded, giving the citrus and florals a bit of texture to rest on. Longevity is on the modest side, present but never built to prove its staying power, and sillage stays private, sitting right on the skin without drifting outward.

Layer it under clothes on a warm morning and it does exactly what it promises: a clean, sheer citrus-floral that feels effortless rather than considered. It stays a single, focused idea from start to finish, without a wasted note anywhere in the formula, the kind of restraint few florals ever attempt.
