Viali presents Oud Blend as an oriental woody release from 2018. The formula brings together cardamom, pepper, Brazilian rosewood, oud, sandalwood, vetiver, tonka bean, vanilla, and amber. The accord list reads warm spicy, woody, vanilla, aromatic, amber, oud, powdery, sweet, balsamic, and fresh spicy. The mix feels dense and resinous. The pepper and cardamom give a bright lift that cuts through heavier materials. Brazilian rosewood adds a dry, polished timber facet.
The oud here is smooth and polished rather than animalic. Sandalwood and vetiver ground the blend with a creamy earthiness. Tonka bean and vanilla provide a rounded sweetness that avoids becoming a dessert scent. Amber and the balsamic accord wrap the woods in a golden haze. The powdery facet softens the edges so the spices never bite. It feels composed for a wardrobe that leans toward resins and timber over fresh citrus.
