Character
The one thing to accept before stepping into this scent is that it will not announce itself to the room. It stays near the body, moving with the person rather than reaching outward, yet it remains present for a long stretch of time once it settles on the skin. Picture a stone courtyard in a city still cool from the winter, where the air feels damp and the sky is a heavy gray. Someone stands near a fountain that has just begun to flow again after the freeze, the water cold and clear. Around them, crushed rhubarb stalks lie on a wooden bench beside a small bundle of cannabis and a pile of resinous myrrh. The air carries that sharp green bite mixed with a deep, smoky incense and the mineral weight of ambergris. Iris adds a powdery, root-like earthiness that grounds the herbal sharpness, while amber wraps the entire scene in a warm, balsamic glow. The ozonic and aquatic notes feel like the mist rising from the fountain, touching the aromatic herbs and the warm spicy air that lingers on the coat sleeves and the cold stone
