Pear Inc
Fragrance notes
Character
Pear Inc names exactly what it is: one fruit note, pear, sitting almost alone at first, crisp and a little watery, not jammy. Ambroxan takes over for the heart, less a smell of its own than a kind of amplifier, giving the pear a clean, synthetic lift that makes it feel bigger than a single fruit should. Musk and ambrettolide handle the base, keeping everything soft, pale, and a touch powdery, like laundry fresh from a dryer.
There is no pyramid to walk through here beyond those three ideas, and that restraint is the entire appeal. Someone chasing a rich, complex pear should skip it entirely. Longevity wears an easy, unremarkable stretch, doing enough for a daytime errand without asking much of you. The sillage barely leaves the wearer at all, the kind you would need to press a wrist right up to someone's face to prove is even there. Spring and summer both make sense for it, when a clean, cold fruit note feels refreshing rather than thin. Pear Inc is a study in one idea done cleanly, nothing more.
