The base tries to rescue it with vanilla absolute and a fuzzy animalic ambergris, but the tobacco note arrives as a dry, ashy afterthought, clashing with the orchid’s powdery sweetness. The overall character is like a tropical smoothie left out in the sun too long: promisingly bright at first, then cloying and faintly sour. With longevity barely scraping three hours and sillage that evaporates within arm’s reach, this is a fragrance that whispers when it should shout, yet somehow still manages to be overwhelming in its synthetic sweetness.
