Clary sage and juniper lead with a cool, resinous bite that smells like crushed stems and clean air, while cinnamon and nutmeg add a warm, kitchen-like heat. The contrast is deliberate. You get the feeling of standing near a window on a cold night while something sweet simmers behind you.
