The benzoin and tonka bean soften the edges as it develops, pulling the smoke down into a warm amber vanilla that hums rather than screams. The overall character feels like a single thread of smoke rising from a spent match in a dark room, steady and deliberate but never thick enough to choke on. It leans heavy and warm, with a natural suede like texture that avoids smelling like a candle. The sillage sits close, barely a whisper after the first hour, and longevity is moderate at best, three to four hours before it fades into a skin scent. For the price, that feels like a gamble.
