Beneath them, ambergris and oud give the blend a deep, animalic weight, while cedar grounds the base with a clean, dry wood. The vanilla here is rich and dark, never turning bright or sugary, and the tobacco carries a natural roughness that keeps the sweetness from feeling polished.
