Taille Haute opens with a bright, watery peach that feels lifted by a sea breeze. The calone gives the fruit a translucent quality, as if the slice is caught in morning light on a balcony overlooking a harbor. Freesia arrives quickly, soft and slightly soapy, followed by a rose that stays pale rather than deep. The floral side never turns heavy. Ambroxan and helvetolide create a clean, musky foundation that keeps the composition modern and slightly synthetic in a polished way. Cedar adds a dry line through the sweetness so the scent never collapses into fruit alone.
The peach and freesia suit a walk through a city park when the air is cool but the sun is out and the trees are still bare. A pale coat and a scarf complete the picture. The musky base feels at home against wool and denim alike, and the ozonic edge matches the sky on a clear day after rain. It is composed by Suzy Le Helley. The whole impression is a reflection of the water caught in the glass of a greenhouse window.
