Fierte Luna
Fragrance notes
Character
French Avenue’s Fierte Luna opens with a sharp lavender that is less herbaceous and more cosmetic, dusted over citrus that fizzes and retreats fast. The bergamot and lemon are a brief slap of freshness before the real story begins. Within minutes, honey and cinnamon surge forward, syrupy and dense, with jasmine adding a synthetic floral shimmer that feels more like a perfumer’s trick than a live bloom. Cashmeran cushions it all into a plush, powdery heart that verges on sticky.
The dry down is where this earns its keep. Vanilla, tobacco leaf, and tonka bean lock into a warm, ambered sweetness that sits close to the skin. Imagine a lavender sachet left too long in a drawer lined with honeyed tobacco and vanilla dust: that’s the image. The blend is squarely mainstream, leaning sweet and discreetly gourmand, with a synthetic edge that keeps it from feeling natural but also stops it from becoming cloying. Longevity is decent at 3.85, but sillage at 3.51 is modest; make peace with a skin scent after an hour.
Who wears this? Anyone who wants a cozy, date-night cuddle in a bottle, preferably in fall or winter when the warmth can breathe. It skews more nighttime than day, though a single spray works for a cold morning. Skip it if you hate sweet tobacco or find cashmeran too powdery. Fierte Luna doesn’t reinvent anything, but it nails the comfort zone, and sometimes that’s exactly what you need. 🌙
