Artémios Rosso
Fragrance notes
Character
Artémios Rosso opens with lavender, bergamot and lemon. The lavender is present from the first spray, supported by the brightness of the citrus. This introduction is brief and moves quickly into the heart. Honey and jasmine sambac create a soft, heavy floral sweetness. Cinnamon adds a gentle warmth that sits close to the flowers. Cashmeran rounds out this part of the composition with a smooth, slightly synthetic texture. The transition feels natural as the citrus steps back and the sweeter elements take control.
The base defines the perfume. Tobacco leaf, tonka bean and vanilla combine into a dense, gourmand foundation. The tobacco is leafy rather than smoky, and the vanilla is rich without becoming sharp. Tonka bean brings a mild almond-like depth that ties the sweetness together. The overall impression is sweet, powdery and aromatic, leaning heavily on the honey and vanilla accords. The composition feels thick and can become cloying in warm air. The synthetic edge in the heart never fully disappears, which distracts from the natural quality of the jasmine and tobacco. It suits cooler conditions and those who enjoy very sweet, heavy citrus gourmand scents.
