Then the iris appears mid development, injecting a cold, powdery floral that cuts through the sweetness like a knife through buttercream. The dry down settles into a warm, lactonic blend of milk and sugar, but the myrrh keeps everything from tipping into pure confection by adding a resinous, slightly medicinal undertone. The overall impression is a bakery at closing time, where leftover frosting has been scraped into a jar and accidentally laced with church incense.
This is an odd, self aware gourmand. It smells both artificial and charming, like a candle that forgot it was supposed to be perfume. The projection is modest and the longevity clocks in around three hours on skin, which matches its middling sillage and rating you cannot expect it to scream for attention. It wears best in fall and spring, when the cool air amplifies the creamy warmth without turning it cloying, and it suits daytime wear for someone who enjoys niche quirk without demanding performance.
