Fragrance notes
Character
Bergamot and Amalfi lemon provide a bright, sunlit opening that feels clean rather than sharp. Iris arrives quickly, laying down a soft, powdery layer that gives the citrus a refined edge. Virginia cedar enters soon after, adding a dry, polished wood facet that keeps the start from feeling too light.
The heart rests on that cedar, which smells like a well-kept wooden surface. Water notes drift through the composition, creating a cool, slightly damp impression that pairs with the powdery iris. Sandalwood begins to show in the background, lending a creamy smoothness to the drier wood.
Tobacco sits in the base with a mild, slightly sweet warmth that never becomes heavy. Musk supports the woods with a clean, skin-like texture. The scent stays near the body as it develops, and the cedar and tobacco remain present for a reasonable span without overwhelming the space around you.
The aquatic element feels thin next to the richer tobacco and sandalwood. It creates a gap in the middle where the theme shifts without fully connecting. The powdery iris also dominates more than the wood at times, making the drydown feel less cohesive than the individual notes promise.
