Coca-Cola shows up as an actual listed note in Youth-Dew, which is as strange to read as it is oddly accurate once you notice it sitting under the spices and aldehydes at the top, a dark, syrupy edge beneath narcissus and lavender.
Cloves and cinnamon dominate the heart alongside rose and jasmine, a spice cluster bold enough to announce the whole fragrance before the base even arrives. Orchid and cassia round out an already crowded heart without getting lost in it. Incense, tolu balsam, oakmoss and peru balsam settle in for a finish that runs dark and resinous, with patchouli and vetiver adding weight underneath the vanilla and musk.
