Melon and black currant open Blue Seduction with a sweet, fruity splash, cut fast by sea water and mint into something more aquatic and salty. Staying power sits at an average pace, present without much drama, and the sillage is a private, quiet thing, felt mainly by the wearer. Green apple joins the fruit early on, tart and crisp against the melon's softer sweetness. Cappuccino and cardamom add an odd, warm twist through the heart, an unexpected coffee note against all that marine freshness.
Woodsy notes and amber close it out gently, a soft landing after a fairly bright, ozonic opening. Nutmeg dusts the heart faintly as well, barely there next to the cappuccino but adding a little warmth to the marine chill. Olivier Cresp is credited as the nose, and the cappuccino-marine pairing in the heart is the most memorable part of the composition, an odd combination that mostly works.
It works best as a warm-weather scent, built for beach days and casual summer wear, not for anything formal or evening-focused. The marine-fruity opening carries most of the personality, playful rather than serious, and it makes a fine choice for someone easing into fresher, less heavy masculines.
