Our take

Golden Ice opens with a bright, juicy litchi that feels chilled rather than syrupy, its sweetness cut by the tart snap of rhubarb and the clean lift of bergamot. Nutmeg adds a gentle warmth that keeps the fruit from floating away, grounding the first impression in something lightly spiced rather than purely sugary. The entrance is cheerful and immediate, the kind of scent that makes a morning feel lighter.

The heart settles into a soft floral blend where peony and Turkish rose sit side by side, supported by a smooth vanilla that never becomes heavy. Musk and petalia give the flowers a clean, slightly powdery texture, so the middle feels airy instead of dense. It is a gentle transition that keeps the fragrance approachable without losing its character.

In the base, Haitian vetiver and cedar provide a dry, woody foundation that balances the earlier fruit and vanilla. Incense adds a faintly resinous touch, while cashmeran wraps the woods in a soft amber glow. The drydown stays close and personal, more of a quiet companion than a bold statement, lingering near the skin as the day goes on.

Composed by Mohammad Tammam Mando and launched in 2021, this Attar Al Has release suits someone who enjoys fruity florals with a woody, slightly incense-tinged finish. It works best in spring and autumn, when the air is cool enough to let the litchi and rose breathe without overwhelming the room.
