Héliotrope
Fragrance notes
Character
Heliotrope sits at the center of this composition, repeated in every stage so the flower never really leaves the room. Palisander rosewood adds a dry, polished wood edge to the opening, while rose brings a soft petal roundness that keeps the start from feeling flat. The first impression is powdery and floral with a gentle lift.
Vanilla and almond join the heliotrope in the heart, creating a creamy, almost edible warmth that stays close to the skin. Raspberry appears later, adding a tart fruit brightness that cuts through the sugar and keeps the blend from becoming heavy. The texture feels fine and dry rather than sticky.
A walk under pale sunlight with a light jacket suits this scent perfectly, the air cool enough to let the powder breathe without wilting. Composed by Eugene Firsanov, the fragrance feels like a soft fabric wrapped around the wearer, gentle and familiar. It closes on a blend of almond and vanilla.
