Inspire II
Fragrance notes
Inspire II can feel a little thin in its early moments. The pink pepper and lavender arrive with a sharp, almost medicinal edge that takes time to settle, and the opening lacks the roundness that would make it immediately inviting. It asks for patience before the more interesting parts of the composition appear.
Once the heart develops, the perfume becomes much more engaging. Geranium adds a green, slightly bitter herbal touch, while plum brings a soft, dark fruitiness that keeps the blend from leaning too dry. The aromatic and fresh spicy accords sit comfortably here, creating a middle phase that feels balanced between sweet and herbal without becoming heavy or cloying.
The base introduces vetiver, truffle, and cedar, which ground the earlier brightness in an earthy, woody foundation. Truffle adds an unusual, slightly damp depth that sets this apart from more standard aromatic blends. The result is a mix of woody, soft spicy, and sweet tones that linger gently on the skin. Rose and herbal notes continue to weave through the drydown, leaving a clean, aromatic impression built around lavender.
