Fragrance notes
Character
Rose water opens the experience with a light, dewy wash that feels more like a mist than a heavy floral statement. It sits close to the skin and carries a soft, slightly green edge that prevents the opening from feeling like a standard rose soliflore. This initial impression is gentle and inviting, setting a tone that feels refined rather than decorative.
Nagarmotha moves into the center with a dry, earthy woodiness that immediately changes the direction. It brings a slightly peppery, root-like character that grounds the rose water completely. Labdanum joins it with a resinous weight, adding a warm, sticky amber tone that begins to pull the fragrance into a deeper, more masculine leaning space.
The base settles into a dense blend of amber, musk, and oud. The amber provides a golden, sweet resin glow while the oud offers a dark, medicinal woodiness that feels raw and slightly animalic. Musk smooths the edges of the sharper woods, creating a powdery, skin-like finish that wraps the heavier materials together into a single, cohesive cloud of warmth.
This is a scent built on contrast, where the clean top note is swallowed by a heavy, resinous heart and a dark, woody foundation. The earthy accords dominate the later stages, leaving a trail that smells of damp forest floor mixed with rich, golden resin and a faint, medicinal wood smoke that lingers in the fabric
