Mandarin orange opens the composition with a bright, juicy flash that cuts through the heavy materials waiting beneath it. Cashmere wood and tobacco form a dense, resinous core that feels textured and slightly rough around the edges. Honey and benzoin add a golden, sticky sweetness that leans into the tobacco rather than floating above it. Patchouli brings an earthy, damp quality that grounds the heart and keeps the sweeter elements from floating away.
Tonka bean and vanilla sit deep in the base, smooth and powdery against the sharper bite of oakmoss. Caramel adds a thick, syrup-like layer that makes the entire structure feel warm and enveloped. Ambergris provides a musky, marine contrast that stops the drydown from becoming entirely dry and woody. The overall impression is a dark lounge lit by low lamps, where the air feels thick with resin and sugar.
The blend leans heavily on synthetic sweetness that can feel cloying if the air is still. Composed by Francesco Perini, the fragrance sometimes buries the citrus so completely that the opening disappears within moments. The caramel and honey dominate to a point where the subtle earthiness of the patchouli struggles to surface. It is a heavy, unapologetic take on oriental vanilla that offers little space for the lighter notes to breathe.
