The windows are open in a sunlit kitchen where someone has just set down a glass of iced tea. Gardenia and magnolia arrive first, bright and dewy, with ivy lending a crisp leafiness that keeps the air feeling clean. Jasmine sambac and lily-of-the-valley soon take over, soft and luminous, while orange blossom adds a gentle sweetness that never turns heavy. The flowers feel transparent here, as if the scent is woven into the breeze rather than sitting on top of it. Ambroxan and orris begin to show themselves slowly, giving the white petals a faint powdery warmth that settles close to the skin. Benzoin smooths the edges so the florals linger in a quiet, golden haze. The whole room carries the impression of a bouquet placed near a sunbeam, fading gradually as the morning goes on and leaving only a faint trace on the wrist
