Grapefruit, juniper, nettle, ginger, and black tea give Firewater a brisk, bitter opening with plenty of green lift. The citrus feels crisp, while juniper and ginger sharpen the blend and black tea adds a dry, tannic edge. Osmanthus brings a soft floral touch as the scent settles, with larch lending a cool, woody tone.
The base is where Jorum Studio’s character comes through most clearly. Peat, birch, seaweed, and vetiver create an earthy, smoky structure, while labdanum and benzoin add ambered warmth. Oak and guaiac wood deepen the grain of the composition, and the leather accord gives it a worn, textured finish. Firewater feels adventurous and slightly austere, with enough citrus and spice to keep the darker materials lively.
Its longevity is long-lasting, and the sillage forms a modest bubble around the wearer. That balance makes it easy to enjoy in close company, while the dark woods and peat give it a strong presence in cooler weather. Autumn and winter suit it especially well, and an evening setting brings out its richest side. Summer can work when the application stays measured. It will appeal to people who enjoy green, marine, and smoky woods with a distinctly unusual profile. The finished scent leaves a black-tea cup beside a peat fire, its rim touched with grapefruit peel.
