Character
The morning air carries a sharp bite that makes a heavy coat feel welcome. Steam rises from a cup of black tea, curling past the rim as the drinker pulls the collar tighter against the breeze. A few steps away, the open window lets in the scent of damp earth and dry leaves, a backdrop that feels grounded and calm.
Cardamom sits at the edge of the inhale, bright and slightly sharp against the darker brew. It does not shout, but it gives the air a lifted feeling that keeps the atmosphere from settling into something too heavy. The tea note feels real, like leaves steeped a minute too long, slightly astringent and dry.
Beneath that surface, sandalwood and vetiver anchor the moment with a clean, earthy weight. The roots and wood feel cool and steady, while tonka bean adds a soft, vanilla warmth that rounds the edges without making the air sweet. It is a space that feels put together, aromatic and green, with a powdery amber haze hanging quietly in the background.
Hands wrap around the warm ceramic, fingers brushing the rough wool of the sleeve as the steam continues to drift upward into the grey sky.
