Bitter orange, neroli and bergamot crowd the opening of Eau de Soleil Blanc, joined almost immediately by pistachio and caraway, an odd, slightly savory pairing that pulls the citrus somewhere stranger than a standard splash.
Tuberose, orange blossom and ylang-ylang take the heart into thick white-flower territory, with jasmine deepening it and galbanum adding a green, slightly bitter cut against all that white flower.
Coconut and vanilla close things out with a beachy sweetness, tonka bean and amber rounding it into something warm, and benzoin adding a last resinous touch. This drydown comes across more suncream than sunset cocktail, playful rather than serious, and that same lightness carries all the way from the sharp citrus opening into the coconut-vanilla close.
Expect an average run out of it, clearly there through a solid stretch of daylight and gone by the time you'd stop to check, and what it throws forms a modest halo just past the skin, easy to miss on someone who applied lightly. Wear it poolside, on a bright morning, or anywhere warmth and citrus feel natural. It's an easy-to-like unisex scent, more about mood than making a statement.
