Our take

Tea opens Flowerbomb before any of the flowers arrive, dry and faintly bitter against the bergamot. It is a strange way to start something named after an explosion, quiet and restrained at first, before osmanthus and the floral heart take over. Osmanthus bridges the tea and the florals, letting the transition happen without a hard edge. Orchid, jasmine, rose, freesia and African orange flower crowd in together, a dense white and rose floral that leans sweet without turning simple. Patchouli and musk hold the sweetness down, and vanilla adds warmth at the base, so the whole thing turns powdery and woody by the time it settles, soft rather than sharp.

Longevity is long-lasting, sticking around well after the tea and bergamot have faded. Musk sits low under the florals, less a note of its own than a quiet base the flowers rest on. Every season in the mix pulls a real share, though summer trails behind spring, fall and winter, and the day and night figures both run high, fitting it for daytime wear as easily as evening. Flowerbomb opens on tea and citrus before settling into a warm, powdery floral crowd built from patchouli, musk and vanilla. By the finish, the scent gathers into a compact bubble, the kind someone standing close would notice at once.
