Character
Birch and oud meet first, sharp and resinous. The saffron sits beside them, warm and metallic.
Palo santo adds a dry, creamy wood that feels like standing near a fire that has burned down to embers. Benzoin brings a soft balsamic sweetness that clings to the air without becoming sugary.
Ambergris runs through the whole composition, animalic and salty, giving the leather and smoke a lived-in texture. The iris is quiet, a powdery shadow behind the heavier woods.
It suits a cold evening walk down a street where the streetlights reflect off wet pavement. The mood is private and a bit severe. The scent is amber, leather, and oud.
