Al Oud
Fragrance notes
Character
Bergamot opens the composition with a bright, citrus lift that cuts through the heavy resin immediately. The initial oud here is dense and resinous, presenting a leathery facet that feels immediate and bold.
Cambodian oud in the heart brings a wet, earthy quality that pairs with the damp soil scent of patchouli. Coumarin adds a smooth, hay-like sweetness that rounds out the sharper spicy edges without making the blend feel sugary.
The trail hangs in the air with a distinct weight, announcing the wearer's presence in a shared space. The resinous woods cling to fabric and skin for an extended period, requiring only a small amount to maintain that heavy presence throughout an evening out.
Indian and Assam oud form a dry, animalic foundation that feels like walking into a dimly lit library filled with old leather-bound books and polished wood panels.
