Un Jardin Sur La Lagune is a summer fragrance built around the smell of a coastline rather than a garden, whatever the name suggests. Christine Nagel leans on marine and salty accords from the very first minutes, sea notes and a bright citrus edge that reads more like wind off open water than anything picked from soil. Magnolia and lily soften that starkness, giving it a white floral center without turning the whole thing sweet or heavy.
Pitosporum adds a green, slightly aromatic detail that lifts the florals out of the ordinary, and woody notes settle underneath everything, dry and understated, giving the salt and citrus something grounded to sit on.
