This is a fragrance that feels substantial on contact, with the oud and opoponax giving it a resinous weight that clings to skin and fabric without needing to reach outward.
The dried plum and pomegranate soften the sharper edges of the geranium, letting the woody and oud accords take up more space as time passes. Laotian oud grows deeper here, supported by opoponax and amber rather than by freshness or light. The balsamic and herbal tones become more noticeable, and the fruity opening recedes into the background. Rose and sweet accords linger underneath, adding a rounded softness that prevents the resin from feeling too dry. The longer it sits, the more the wood and resin dominate, with the spices and fruit playing a smaller role in the overall impression.
