MYSLF opens with a double dose of bergamot, Calabrian and standard, layered so the citrus feels fuller and slightly more bitter than a single variety would give. Tunisian orange blossom carries the heart alone, white and a touch honeyed, before Ambrofix and patchouli settle into a woody, earthy base that feels more masculine than the bright opening promises. The single-note heart is an interesting choice, letting the orange blossom breathe without anything else competing for space.
The whole arc is a study in contrast: citrus and white flowers up top, dry patchouli underneath, with nothing bridging the two beyond time on skin. Longevity runs a comfortable middle course, and what projects stays a close-range presence, more for the wearer than for anyone standing nearby, which makes it a reasonable choice for the office or a first date where you want something noticed only up close.
Patchouli fans who usually find citrus openings too thin will be surprised by how well this one holds its ground once the top notes clear, and the honeyed orange blossom gives the composition just enough warmth to balance all that dry patchouli.
