Fragrance notes
Character
A scarf is pulled tight against a cool breeze as someone walks beneath wet cypress trees, the air carrying a bright flash of bergamot that cuts through the morning chill. Palisander rosewood adds a dry, polished grain to the opening, keeping the citrus from feeling like a simple splash of sunshine. The gesture feels intentional, a way to meet the day with a bit of armor that still smells like skin.
Roses soon unfold in layers that feel gathered from different soils, with Turkish and Moroccan varieties offering a deep, velvet weight while Taif rose brings a sharper, dewy edge. Clementine brightens the petals without turning the blend sugary, and cypress needles lend a clean, forest floor greenness to the heart. The flowers sit close to the fabric of a coat, heavy and powdery, never floating away into a light floral mist.
Amber and ambergris warm the base with a salty, animalic breath that suggests a body lingering in the room after the door has closed. Cambodian oud and agarwood ground the sweetness with a dark, resinous smoke, while sandalwood and musk soften the edges into a creamy, almost dusty finish. The scent feels like a stone courtyard after rain, where wet wood and ancient petals press into the air
