Tabac Qinan carries a cumin note that dominates the blend with a heavy, animalic edge. For some wearers that touch reads as unwashed skin rather than a spice rack, and it can overwhelm the softer elements nearby. The scent does not try to soften that choice, so anyone who dislikes that particular heat should approach with caution.
The formula gathers sandalwood, kyara wood, patchouli, cypress, frankincense, and juniper berry into a dense woody core. Tobacco and saffron add warmth, while anise, black pepper, nutmeg, and cumin push the spice into fresh, warm, and soft spicy directions at once. Raspberry and tangerine provide a sweet lift, and Taif rose, Bulgarian rose, neroli, and silk introduce a powdery, musky floral layer that sits close to the wood.
Cumin remains the deciding factor here. When it aligns with the wearer it creates a rich, spicy wood that feels complete, but when it turns sharp it leaves the rest of the notes struggling to recover. If that particular spice reads unpleasant on your skin, the entire composition collapses regardless of the quality in the surrounding rose, fruit, and resin.
