Toy 2 Bubble Gum
Fragrance notes
Character
Bubble gum is not a note perfumery usually names outright, but Moschino puts it in the middle of Toy 2 Bubble Gum and lets it run the show. Candied fruits, bitter orange and lemon open sharp and a little sour, more soda than citrus, before the gum note lands alongside Bulgarian rose, peach, blueberry, peach blossom, cinnamon and ginger. It comes across like a fruit stand that wandered into a candy shop, sweet and tropical without any single note taking over, with cinnamon and ginger adding a warm, spicy undercurrent beneath the fruit.
Musk, ambroxan and cedar sit underneath, giving the sweetness some weight and a clean finish once the fruit settles, though the woody facet never fully takes over. It doesn't ask for a heavy hand to notice, and the sweetness settles into an average pace as the wear goes on. It keeps to the skin, the kind of sweetness you'd only catch leaning in close, more personal than announced. It suits warm weather and daytime wear, worn for the candied fruit note itself above anything more restrained, committed fully to one idea.
