Our take

212 Sexy suits a wearer who wants a sweet fragrance without going fully gourmand. Pink pepper, mandarin orange and bergamot open it with some citrus snap, and then cotton candy arrives in the heart next to gardenia, generic flowers, pelargonium and rose, an odd but genuinely playful pairing. Pelargonium gives that floral cluster a slightly green, leafy edge alongside all that sugar.

Vanilla, musk, sandalwood, caramel, violet and patchouli fill out the base, sweet and powdery, with woody patchouli underneath giving the sugar some grounding. Once it's on, it isn't going anywhere for a long while, and the sillage holds a compact, personal cloud, noticed by people close enough to catch the caramel and musk. Violet adds a slightly powdery, cosmetic quality to the base, balancing all that caramel and sugar with something drier.

It's a fun, uncomplicated pick for someone who already likes sweet vanillas and wants one with a playful, candy-like top rather than a serious floral structure. Anyone after something dry or green should look at a different bottle entirely, since 212 Sexy never once considers restraint. The whole composition is built around contrast between citrus, candy and powder, and that mix is either charming or exhausting depending on your mood.
