Alea 72
Fragrance notes
Character
Galbanum and lime open Alea 72 with a sharp, vivid green bite. The aldehydes add a sparkling lift that feels crisp and slightly metallic. Iris and lilac sit at the center, soft and powdery against the brighter geranium. Incense threads through the florals, giving the heart a faintly resinous, meditative quality. Hedione smooths the edges so the transition from bright top to deeper core feels seamless.
The base is a dense, earthy chypre built on oakmoss and patchouli. Civet adds a slightly animalic warmth that keeps the vanilla from reading sweet. Vetiver and sandalwood ground the moss with dry, woody clarity. Amber and musk wrap the sharper elements in a rounded, skin-like haze. The overall impression is a dimly lit library where old paper, polished wood, and cool stone meet in the quiet air.
