Peony & Blush Suede
Fragrance notes
Character
Red apple opens Peony & Blush Suede with a crisp, juicy snap before the actual flowers arrive: peony, rose, jasmine and carnation layered into something soft and a little powdery, closer to a bouquet left in a cool room than anything overtly sweet. Suede sits underneath the whole composition, giving it a slightly dusty, leathery quiet in place of the usual musk base.
It works best for a bright morning, a garden visit, or a quiet walk before the day gets busy. Endurance leans toward the shorter side of average here, easy to catch early and quick to fade into the background, and what it throws is the smallest presence in this shard, a quiet cloud that barely leaves the wearer's own space. The suede note is what separates this from a dozen other peony scents, giving all that softness a bit of texture and grain.
Someone wanting a floral built to carry through a long stretch unattended would do better with a different release in the same line, since here restraint covers both how far it travels and how long it stays.
