Our take

Eros doesn't throw a wide sillage. It's a modest bubble, mostly picked up by anyone standing close. What it lacks in projection it makes up for with a well-built structure: mint, green apple and lemon open crisp and cold, citrus and aromatic all at once, geranium and tonka bean warm the heart, and vanilla, cedar, vetiver and oakmoss settle into a woody, slightly sweet base.

The mint and green apple opening is the most distinct part of the whole thing, cold and a little sharp, like biting into unripe fruit on a cold morning. Ambroxan smooths the transition into the base, keeping the woody notes clean and warm rather than heavy or dark.

Longevity is long-lasting, sticking around comfortably, and the composition holds up well across the different seasons, working equally in spring, summer, fall or winter. Oakmoss and vetiver add a bitter, green edge, keeping the vanilla and tonka sweetness balanced against something drier.

Between the cold citrus opening and the woody, bitter base, the overall feel stays clean, grounded and aromatic, with the vanilla and tonka adding warmth without turning the whole thing sweet.
