Sillage
Fragrance notes
Character
Sillage arrives with a rough edge that some will find abrasive. The akigalawood opens with a dry, almost dusty wood that feels less polished than its peers. It lacks an immediate sweetness to soften the landing, presenting a stern profile from the first moment on the skin.
The scene is a dimly lit courtyard in the city, where the air cools and the concrete walls hold the day's heat. You lean against a stone pillar near a planter of overgrown herbs. The basil in the fragrance mixes with the actual crushed leaves nearby, while the timur pepper adds a vibration to the still air. It is a space of shadow and texture.
Vetiver runs through the ground like the scent of the damp earth under the planter boxes. The patchouli adds a dark, rich soil note that anchors the herbs, while the ambroxan catches the faint glow of a streetlamp reflecting off a nearby window. It feels rooted in the ground but touched by the artificial light of the urban night.
The aroma creates a boundary around you as you watch the traffic move past the entrance, a green and earthy shield that separates the quiet corner from the noise of the street, the basil and pepper humming against the amber
