Our take

Opening on litchi, rhubarb, and black currant, Delina reads more like fruit salad than perfume for the first few minutes, tart and a little sour before the rose steps in. Turkish rose and peony take over the heart, powdery and full, with none of the sharp green edge some rose perfumes lean on, and a musky undertone running beneath the petals.

Quentin Bisch built the base from cashmeran, incense, cedar, and Haitian vetiver, and caramel warms the whole thing without turning it into a dessert. The result smells expensive in a straightforward way, more polished department-store rose than experimental niche work, and it wears that identity comfortably, no apology needed.

It sticks around on the skin, and the sillage sits as a modest bubble, present but never loud. Spring carries it best, with the fruit notes reading fresh rather than jammy in warmer air, though it holds up fine into cooler months too given how much powder and wood sit under the rose. Daytime suits it more than evening, when the tart fruit opening can shine without competing against much else.

The tartness up front might catch newcomers off guard, but it moves fast into the powdery rose that defines the rest of the wear.
