Character
Jasmine crashes in first, heavy and white, with almost nothing to soften it for the first few minutes. Cashmere wood and orris root arrive to round the edges, turning the floral powdery instead of sharp, and from there the fragrance settles into a thick amber and vanilla pod base.
Myrrh and incense give the drydown a warm, balsamic depth alongside the vanilla pod, so the sweetness never becomes the only idea in the composition. White amber ties the whole thing together, warm and rounded, while the cashmere wood keeps the composition feeling structured and dense.
Cold weather is where this belongs. Fall and winter dominate the season profile completely, with nothing left for warmer months, and the fragrance wears like a coat, heavy and enveloping. It leaves a trail wherever it goes, and once it settles in, it stays put for a long stretch, so this is not something to wear lightly to a summer lunch.
Delicate florals or clean citrus fans will likely find it too much, and that is fine. Heavy, ambery and unapologetic, it belongs in cold rooms and dark clothes, holding its vanilla pod core intact through every stage of the wear.
