Fragrance notes
Character
Civet and castoreum sit beside hyrax in a blend that feels alive and untamed. The air turns dense with Indian oud and Thailand oud, their resinous weight pulled toward earth by Indonesian patchouli leaf and cypriol. Frankincense and myrrh add a churchy stillness, while galbanum and cypress push green stems through the dark.
Saffron and cloves warm the skin like a heavy wool coat under gray skies. Cumin and cacao pod bring a bitter edge that keeps the sweetness of beeswax and Siam benzoin from feeling soft. Hay and oakmoss recall a damp forest floor, and vetiver roots the entire composition in soil.
Taif rose, Damask rose, May rose, and rose mingle with jasmine sambac, Indian tuberose, champaca, and ylang-ylang. The flowers do not float. They are pressed into the musky animalic base, their petals stained by amber and nard Himalayan. The result is floral but heavy, never light or clean.
A walk through wet leaves after sunset suits this scent, the cold air meeting warm spicy skin. The aromatic woods and leather accords feel at home where breath fogs in the light of a streetlamp and the night carries a deep, unwashed
