Pineapple Vintage X Batch
Fragrance notes
Character
This opens with a blast of ultra-ripe pineapple and tart black currant, sweet and almost jammy, before the lavender and bergamot roll in to pull it toward a more barbershop-adjacent aromatic heart. The cedar and neroli add a stiff, clean spine, but the base of ambroxan and patchouli flattens things into a synthetic, vaguely woody musk that feels a bit hollow. The overall effect is like a crushed piña colada can left to sweat on a freshly mown lawn: bright, confusing, and ultimately a little cheap. With longevity just north of three hours and sillage that barely escapes your collar, this is a short-lived novelty rather than a serious composition. It wears best in spring and summer daytime, when its fruity sweetness can breathe without clashing against cold air or evening formality. The kind of fragrance you spritz before a casual brunch or a gym trip, not a date or a meeting. If you want a photorealistic pineapple that evolves and lingers, skip this. But if you enjoy a loud, fleeting tropical rush with a woody dry down that doesn’t overstay its welcome, give it a shot. Just don’t expect anyone to notice after the first hour. 🍍
