Wasan
Fragrance notes
Character
Wasan opens with a cool, medicinal lift from borneol and the green, slightly metallic edge of strobilanthes callosus. Pandanus adds a leafy, almost grassy freshness, while olive brings a smooth, mild fruitiness that keeps the start from feeling sharp. The entrance is clean and herbal, moving quickly into the floral heart without lingering too long on the green top layer.
The heart gathers white rose, magnolia, lily, mimosa, and jasmine into a soft, airy bouquet. It feels bright and slightly powdery, with mimosa lending a gentle warmth and magnolia adding a creamy touch. This stage stays light on the skin, fitting a warm morning walk through a garden where sunlight hits the petals and the air feels clear. The flowers do not crowd each other, leaving space for the base to unfold.
Frankincense and oakmoss anchor the drydown with a dry, resinous depth. Vanilla softens the resin, while smoke and musk add a quiet, lingering weight. Mushroom introduces an earthy, damp quality that grounds the sweetness. The result is an amber, woody, and mossy finish that holds the floral memory close. Balsamic and fresh spicy accents run through the end, leaving a white floral and vanilla impression that stays present.
