Signor Vivara
Fragrance notes
Character
Signor Vivara opens with a sharp green lift from galbanum and artemisia, softened by the bright citrus of bergamot and a faint metallic shimmer from aldehydes. Coriander adds a cool, slightly peppery edge that keeps the entrance crisp rather than sweet. The early impression is herbal and angular, with the green accords dominating before the heart begins to unfold.
Jasmine and carnation bring a floral warmth that sits beside the dry wood of sandalwood and the earthy depth of vetiver. Cinnamon and orris introduce a gentle spice that never becomes loud, while patchouli anchors the middle with a dark, soil-like richness. The leather and castoreum in the base arrive steadily and stay present through hours of wear, supported by the resinous weight of myrrh and a deep mossy foundation.
Costus and amber add a rough, animalic texture that clings to skin and fabric, allowing the scent to announce itself clearly in a room without ever feeling forced. The smoky, musky drydown feels suited to a dimly lit street after rain when the air is cool and heavy. It finishes on a persistent leather accord that refuses to fade.
