It is round and friendly, sitting close to the skin as the white flowers begin to unfold.
Gardenia leads the heart, thick and creamy, with freesia and lily lending a clean, slightly dewy edge to the petals. The flowers do not float. They settle into the room with a powdery softness that feels familiar and a bit old-fashioned. There is a gentle warmth here that makes the space feel smaller and quieter than it did a moment ago.
Vanilla moves in next, smooth and sweet, followed by patchouli that adds a dark, earthy weight to the base. Cedar and musk give the blend a dry, woody backbone so the sugar does not take over completely. The air smells balsamic and spicy now, a heavy mix that wraps around the room like a thick cardigan.
The orange has vanished entirely, and the gardenia feels buried under the vanilla and patchouli. It lacks a fresh green lift to balance the heavy base, so the composition reads a bit muddy once the bright opening disappears.
