Irisoir
Fragrance notes
Character
Irisoir opens with iris and peach wrapped in violet and heliotrope, a soft floral start that carries lilac across the first minutes. The fruit stays gentle and the flowers keep to a powdery lane, so the entrance feels calm rather than bright. Carnation and jasmine join rose and tuberose in the heart, with violet leaf adding a green edge to the dense bouquet. Orris and iris butter deepen the floral core, moving the scent toward a heavier, more rooted character.
The drydown is where the composition settles. Styrax and tonka bean bring a warm, resinous sweetness that pairs with Mysore sandalwood and cedar. Haitian vetiver and ambergris introduce an earthy, slightly mineral touch, while musk smooths the edges. Iris butter returns here, tying the base to the earlier floral stages. The scent stays near the body as it develops, and the materials linger through an evening out. It suits dim rooms, close conversation, and a mood that favors powder and wood over fresh air. The finish is powdery iris and amber.
