Our take

Almond blossom opens Cinéma soft and faintly milky, with none of the sharper edge nuts can carry, while clementine flickers past and cyclamen adds a green whisper before fading. The heart is where the name earns itself: jasmine, peony and amaryllis pressed close together, dense and a little waxy, like a bouquet left standing in a warm room. Vanilla, amber, benzoin and white musk take over from there, giving the drydown a soft, powdery warmth more than an obvious sweetness.

This suits candlelight better than daylight, when its powdery amber glow feels deliberate and full, not overdone. It sticks around once it settles in, and what drifts off the skin stays a modest bubble around the wearer, the kind a companion notices without you having to lean in.

The almond's softness and the base's amber weight trade places as the fragrance develops, so it keeps moving instead of flattening into one note.

Fans of heavy white florals will find plenty here. It wears with an old-fashioned formality, warm and emphatic in a way that will feel elegant to some and heavy for daytime to others.
